Child Safety Standards
Effective date: 1 October 2026 · Last updated: 7 October 2026
In short
InTimePost has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
- This kind of content and behavior is strictly forbidden.
- Every piece of content and every profile in the app can be reported for child safety; a single report hides the content immediately.
- When we find abuse content, we remove it, close the account and report it to the competent authorities.
- Child safety contact: Emirhan Sarıal, intimepost.app@gmail.com.
Scope
These standards apply to the InTimePost app (developer: Emirhan Sarıal) and the InTimePost link website. On InTimePost, users can send each other capsules containing messages, photos and voice recordings, follow each other and share content on Explore.
What is forbidden
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM): any photo, audio, text or drawing that shows a person under 18 in a sexual or sexualized way.
- Contacting children for sexual purposes, deceiving them, or gaining their trust to prepare them for abuse (grooming).
- Asking children for sexual images, or sending sexual content to children.
- Content that praises, encourages or normalizes the sexual abuse of children.
- Contacting children, or sharing content, in order to exploit them (for example, trafficking).
- Sharing where child abuse material can be found.
Our safeguards
- Minimum age: children under 13 cannot create an account. We ask for a birth year when an account is created; the birth year is never shown to anyone.
- In-app reporting: Explore cards, opened photos, every profile, received capsules (even while locked) and every chat message have a Report → Threatens a child's safety option. When such a report is made in chat, the reported message and the last 20 messages of that chat (from the last 7 days at most) are copied into a locked evidence record, which is kept even if the accounts are deleted.
- Immediate hiding: a single child safety report hides the content from Explore without waiting for a human, stops the opening notification and marks the report as urgent in the review queue.
- Blocking: you can block any user; the person you block cannot see you, follow you or send you capsules.
- Limited contact: capsules can only be sent directly, without a link, between people who follow each other. The app has no random matching and no message request inbox.
- Chat for adults only: chat only opens between two users who are 18 or over and follow each other. People under 18 cannot use chat at all, and adults cannot send messages to people under 18. Photos and voice cannot be sent in chat. Age is based on the birth year declared when the account was created.
- Text filter: profile names, bios, messages that are going to appear on Explore and chat messages are checked automatically against a list of banned words.
When a report comes in
1. The content is hidden automatically at the moment it is reported. 2. The report is marked as urgent; an automatic alert goes to the person responsible for child safety, and the report is reviewed first. 3. Evidence is preserved: a copy of the reported content and account is kept locked so it can be passed to the authorities, even if the reported person deletes their account. 4. If abuse is confirmed, the content is removed, the account is suspended (not deleted, so the evidence is preserved) and the case is reported to the competent authorities. 5. If the report was unfounded, the content is restored.
Reporting to the authorities
We report child abuse content that we find on InTimePost, or that is reported to us, to the competent authorities in Turkey (the cybercrime units of the Turkish National Police, public prosecutors' offices and ihbarweb.org.tr) and, where needed, to international organizations (for example, NCMEC in the United States). We respond to lawful requests from the authorities as the law provides. We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us.
How to report
- In the app: on the content or profile, choose Report → Threatens a child's safety.
- By email: intimepost.app@gmail.com, with "Child safety" in the subject line; if you can, briefly give the @username and what you saw. Please do not copy abuse material or attach it to your email; telling us where you saw it is enough.
- Directly to the authorities: ihbarweb.org.tr or 112 in Turkey; NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org from anywhere. If a child is in danger, call your local emergency number first.
